Landing pages
Landing pages can be the secret to success for a Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign.
Put simply, a landing page is a single page website usually linked to a Google AdWords advert. Such sites work because visitors landing on the page have a restricted number of options: usually to complete an email sign-up form or to telephone the company.
So landing pages work especially well when a PPC campaign is being run to achieve a single result, perhaps to capture email addresses for a newsletter or to qualify telephone leads.
Landing pages are effective as visitors are clearly directed to take the required action(s) so are not ‘lost’ amongst the pages of a large website. However, there can be a link from the landing page to a website.
